The High School of Music
The High School of Music of the International Academy of Music (unique in Umbria) founded in 1991 by Piero Vincenti proposes International annual and three-year Courses of High Specialization, mainly addressed to people who have already obtained a diploma from a conservatory or officially recognized Musical Institute, held by concertist teachers of national and international renown with the issue at the end of the three years of a high specialization diploma; the courses are intended to consent a larger widening of the study and knowledge of the repertoire of the instrument studied, helping from closer young musicians in their placement in the work environment and in the daily coexistence with the obstacles it involves.
In this sense orchestra and chamber concerts are constantly organized that have the best pupils attending the High School of Music as protagonists.
In its ten years didactic activity addressed both to the high specialization and musical performance courses teachers of great renown have followed one another, who have represented a reliable point of reference in the survey of the annual perfecting courses and international stages, among whom we remind:

During these years pupils coming from Italy, Europe, North America, South America, Asia have attended the courses of the High School.
The purpose of the International Academy of Music is also addressed to the advancement of young artists through the work of the Association NonSoloMusica which deals with concerts and events' organization.
Every year Masters and Tutorials are arranged, held by world-wide renown musicians. Masterclasses are proposed all through the year, in spring within Tirana Music Festival and in summer within the International Festival UmbriaEstate.
Calendar of the courses: annual and three-year courses start in February and continue up to 30th June, to coincide with UmbriaEstate Festival, then they start again in September up to 20th December; lessons are usually given on Saturday and Sunday.
Moreover the High School of Music proposes courses, also opened to people who aren't holders of a diploma, preparing to annual and three-year courses.
Venue of the courses of the High School of Music is the town of Assisi.
